Bernedoodle

What Drives Us

What is a Bernedoodle ?, A man made cross between the loyal and gentle Bernese Mountain Dog and the intelligent, playful, hypoallergenic standard poodle.

With limited history it's believed a Bernedoodle should be courageous but never aggressive, Loyal, devoted and loving.

Serious Bernedoodle enthusiasts are extensively health testing their dogs used in the breeding programs to promote the best possible long term odds against hereditary disease.
Believed to have been brought about in the early 2000's, the genetic pool is limited but for those who have opened their hearts and homes to these dogs, They are not disappointed.

Almost every large breed dog blows their coat and the moult can be excessive, by using the standard poodle the hope is to make large breeds more hypoallergenic, Meaning low to non shedding and a solid dog capable of working.
