What Motivates Us

What is there not to love about dogs!
I started out Exhibiting at open and championship shows, Took my Judging exams and then did a university degree in animal science, Canine behaviour and psychology.
I used the Kennel club accredited learning programs to qualify in delivering Good Citizen classes, Become an accredited trainer and eventually set up an education school to help fellow canine enthusiasts gain their judging certificates.
I am a registered member of the British institute of Professional dog trainers and  hold a certificate in pet first aid. 
Dogs are my passion, They work so hard for humankind in many different ways and make life worth living.
I have strong views on responsible ownership, Early education for children to respect animals and not take them for granted, A life skill i have taught my own children.
Sadly the pedigree world is full of politics, Bullies and is not always a pleasant environment, While coming to terms with this i met the Bernedoodle, An intelligent, Goofy, Active and friendly companion and lost my heart to them, I did once protest I will never own a doodle, Well how wrong was I!
Bernedoodles are manmade like many breeds but only started in 2000, There popularity is growing steadily and i personally hope given time that they earn a place as loved family companions, dependable workers and a healthy alternative large breed.
